2011 Grantwinners Reception

The Division of Research Administration recently hosted the 34th annual Grantwinner Reception. The event honors outstanding faculty for research and scholarly achievements during the prior academic year.

Junior and senior level faculty members are nominated by their deans based on grant funding for the academic year and academic productivity, including publication and patents. In addition to the excellence in research awards, the Division of Research Administration also gives out awards for excellence in innovation, service and research administration.

"All of these faculty and staff are richly deserving of their awards," said Raymond Tait, Ph.D, vice president for research. "This year, we decided to give particular recognition to those who have provided selfless service to the SLU community as that service is an often ignored, but critical element of the research enterprise."
All awarded faculty, their chairs and deans, along with administrative support staff, compliance committee members, finance office staff and faculty grant reviewers were invited.
