Congratulations to Elise Ambrose, doctoral student in the Department of Pathology, for the successful defense of her dissertation "The Role of UCKL-1
in Tumor Cell Growth and Apoptosis" on Friday, May 11th, 2012.  The defense was well-attended by faculty, colleagues, and proud family members.  Elise has studied under the mentorship of Dr. Jacki Kornbluth, and will receive her Ph.D. degree from Saint Louis University in the upcoming graduation ceremony.
