Confocal Microscopy

The Research Microscopy Core has three confocal microscopes:

Olympus FV-1000 MPE on an upright platform, located in Room 254 in the Doisy Research Center, with 405, 458, 488, 515, 559 and 635 nm excitation laser lines for standard confocal operational mode and a Coherent Chameleon UltraII laser with excitation from 640 to 1080 nm for deep fluorescent imaging of living cells, explanted tissues and small animals.
