Professor Boyer Selected as ANA NextGen Ambassador
Tori Boyer, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, has been nationally recognized by the American Nurses Association as a 2025 NextGen Ambassador, distinguishing her as one of only 15 nurses selected to help shape the future of nursing leadership. Her work amplifying early‑career nurse voices and advancing innovation, ethical practice, and professional sustainability is gaining national attention and elevating the profile of Saint Louis University’s Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing.

The ANA's recognition highlights Boyer’s work as a national spokesperson for early-career nurses, grounded in bridging the generational gap in leadership, to encourage emerging and established leaders to advance ethical practice, scholarship, innovation, and professional sustainability. Boyer is an assistant professor at SLU's Valentine School of Nursing.
Since her selection, Boyer has presented her vision for empowering future nurses and advanced practice providers at the ANCC National Magnet Conference and has engaged directly with ANA executive leadership and State Nursing Association leaders to provide strategic feedback on engaging and retaining the next generation of nurses. She was also selected to collaborate with ANA’s media and communications leadership to inform national social media and digital engagement strategies aimed at amplifying nursing voices and expanding professional reach. This work will continue throughout her ambassador term, aligning national advocacy with her faculty role at SLU's nursing school, where she aims to advance continued education, scholarship, and innovation by preparing future nurse practitioners to lead in an evolving healthcare landscape.
