Manar Shmais is a gastroenterologist who specializes in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) - which
includes both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease - affecting adult patients ages
18 and older. In addition to IBD, she also treats general gastrointestinal illnesses,
as well as microscopic colitis.
Shmais provides compassionate medical care, treating each patient as a whole and not solely
focusing on his or her GI disease. Her mission is to help her IBD patients achieve
