Fellowship Training

Saint Louis University School of Medicine's Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology offers five fellowship training programs: academic/advanced clinical research; advanced endoscopy; gastroenterology and hepatology; neurogastroenterology and motility; and transplant hepatology. 

Academic/Advanced Clinical Research Fellowship

This one-year fellowship includes clinical training and robust opportunities to lead, present and publish research. 

There is one available position each year.

Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Program

This one-year fellowship offers comprehensive training and cutting-edge equipment in a newly built endoscopy unit.

Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship Program

This three-year fellowship provides training in the cognitive and procedural aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology. It includes a dual-pathway option that combines training in transplant hepatology.

This one-year fellowship includes research opportunities, as well as clinical training, leadership and mentorship.

This one-year fellowship offers additional skills, procedures and experience to physicians who've completed gastroenterology fellowship training. It includes a dual pathway option that combines training in gastroenterology and hepatology.
