Saint Louis University School of Medicine's Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex respiratory diseases and critical illnesses.

Taking Control of Respiratory Health

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine offers cutting-edge treatments, state-of-the-art facilities and multidisciplinary care. Its specialists treat patients in hospitals as well as the following specialty centers and outpatient clinics:

  • Airway and Breathing Clinic
  • Cystic Fibrosis Center
  • Pulmonary Embolism Clinic
  • Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic
  • Sleep Disorders Center

Notably, division specialists lead care teams at the pediatric and adult St. Louis Cystic Fibrosis Center — both of which are accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation — and a Sleep Disorders Center accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

The division also offers comprehensive fellowship training in all aspects of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, including exposure to advanced techniques such as right heart catheterization or endobronchial and endoscopic ultrasounds.
